I am thoroughly satisfied with Javier.
He's cool, he's got a decent story that I'd like to see play out. I especially like the twist ending and the unrequited sexual tension he has with Kate. He's basically like Luke 2.0, in a way.
Clementine was cool and all, but I wish that we'd get to play more as her in the future.
What I don't like about this season, though, is the pacing and dialogue. The pacing is about two notches from mach-5; it's not like Season 1 or 2's campiness. The dialogue also feels clunky and choppy, and everyone talks to Javier and Clem like they're good friends and all even though they've all only known each other for like 2 days. I can tolerate this, though, and hope that it gets better in the other episodes now that everything that needed to be established has been established.
What especially hate was Kenny and Jane's deaths. But mostly Jane's. They were just too abrupt. Kenny's death was infuriating, but more or less okay. Jane's death was just purely retarded and sounds like something straight outta fanfiction. I saw this from a mile away, though, so I'm not too angry at Telltale for it, but still...
So far I'd say that Season 3 is more or less on equal part to Season 2, just a little bit worse. I expect it to at least exceed Season 2 later on, though.
