So I was perusing through a bookshop the other day when I noticed Fall of the Governor and noticed it was part 1. Then I noticed the book was about as thick as Outer Dark (200+ pages). Then I read on the wiki that the novel was split into two because Kirkman considered it to oh so long.
I, for one, find this to be quite frustrating. It's one thing if an author feels they should stretch out a story to make a buck or two extra, but writing a complete work and then deciding that you're going to split it up and still charge it like it was an individual book just seems like one hell of a slimey move.
I don't know about you, but I'm waiting until either a complete version comes out, or until both or on sale before I get the books.
