At first glance, Carl shooting Jody in the face seems to be an immoral and unethical kill. However, upon watching this scene again it's clear that he did the right thing. When Jody first runs into Carl, Hershel and Beth, Hershel yell's "Drop the gun". But Jody Doesn't he does this slow approach on Carl, saying, "take the gun". If he was really going to surrender himself and his weapon, he would have just dropped the damn gun. I honestly believe that Jody was planning on faking the handing over of the gun, only to shoot Carl or someone when their gaurd was down. What are your thoughts?
