Why I think this is because nothing to do with the character Carl but Chandler riggs Will be out growing the comics time as it is 2 years after first contact but by the time the show is over if Carl lives he will be 23. He might die during the season 3 finale. i hope he doesn't die but if he lives it will push the time line way ahead of the comic
