So, among other fascinating things, in the previous issue we saw that Jesus is gay, and has some sort of relationship with Alex. To be honest, some kind of development was what I eexpected to like Jesus more, and I am looking forward to his future. I hope though thst it doesn't stick to "Alex dies, Jesus grieves, he and Aaron get together after some hesitation, but we only live once and not so much anymore". I want to have something different with his character.
So this theory came to mind. What if Alex isn't Jesus' lover? What if he is his brother?
I know, I know, this is a weird way to hug your brother. Of course it is. BUT, what if Alex has some mental problems, and acts like a child even at his age? Then I believe Jesus would protect Alex at any cost, and their brotherly bond might evolve into a father-son relationship after their parents died.
And when they were outside Negan's base, Jesus wouldn't tell Rick he has a brother in the hilltop, because Rick wouldn't allow him to stay.
I don't know, this theory sounds nice in my head, but I know this isn't going to happen, and Alex is Jesus' boyfriend or something. And I'm ok with that.
