Glenn Mazzara, the Walking Dead showrunner, doesn't want to spill too much about Season 3. Mostly, he wants to make a few things clear: the season will take place primarily in a prison, there will be a menacing villain named The Governor, and nobody will take shelter. There is no safe haven from the zombies!

"No," Mazzara says, "There is no safe haven in this world. I want to make that clear. At the end of our season 2 finale that farm is overtaken and that farm was that last safe haven, and there's no safe haven in that world. I want to be very clear about that. No one is safe. There is no safe haven."

That's boats, no planes, no secret underground passage to safety. That will not happen.

He also reassures us that while he will use the basic format of the Walking Dead comic books, he will be adding his own twists and turns, making the show still exciting for a fan of the Walking Dead comic books.

As for The Governor, he promises he will make an exciting entrance that we will all be ready for.
