Do you want to see how you'd survive in a zombie apocalypse? Well, for one I know I'd like to try it out, but I'd certainly want a "pause" option--I need to pause repeatedly, just to watch The Walking Dead to keep from going nuts with suspense.
But the new AMC Walking Dead Social Game, developed by Eyes Wide Games of Atlanta, GA, is more than just seeing how you would survive amongst zombies--you get to see how your friends are doing! Do you think the accountant at your office is a wimp? Well, you might be surprised when you see him hacking down zombies left and right! And you thought your muscle-bodied buddy could do anything--but maybe he can't fight off zombies as well as he can fight off a belly bulge.
The object of the game is, of course,…

So...what do we know about Season 3 of The Walking Dead? We know there will be a prison, zombies to go along with it, and a sinister figure called The Governor. But now, we get to go a step farther. Feast your eyes on the Season 3 promo poster!
The poster clearly shows The Governor, as played by British actor David Morrissey. In addition, we get to catch a glimpse of katana sword warrior Michonne, played by Danai Gurira.
Showrunner Glen Mazzara also has something to say about Season 3 which leads us to believe it could be an even scarier and action-packed season: “The entire landscape has fallen to zombies,” says Mazzara, “The entire world has collapsed, the apocalypse has taken over, the zombies have taken over, there’s no safe place. Fans of The Walking Dead are counting the days until we finally see the inside of the famed prison, which comic book fans are already familiar with.
What could be creepier than a prison...full of zombies?
So we've collected two preview pictures to give you a glimpse of the prison and its flesh-eating inhabitants. Check out Maggie delivering that blow with the machete! I'm getting chills just looking at it.
“I’m incredibly proud of the prison,” says showrunner Glen Mazzara. “I think our crew has done a great job. It’s a huge sense of scale and magnitude I haven’t seen on any other show as far as construction. What’s important to us is, the prison itself is now a character in the show. It’s a haunted house, it’s scary, it’s frightening, and th…Read more >

Glenn Mazzara, the Walking Dead showrunner, doesn't want to spill too much about Season 3. Mostly, he wants to make a few things clear: the season will take place primarily in a prison, there will be a menacing villain named The Governor, and nobody will take shelter. There is no safe haven from the zombies!
"No," Mazzara says, "There is no safe haven in this world. I want to make that clear. At the end of our season 2 finale that farm is overtaken and that farm was that last safe haven, and there's no safe haven in that world. I want to be very clear about that. No one is safe. There is no safe haven."
That's right...no boats, no planes, no secret underground passage to…Read more >
Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter recently had an outburst on Twitter, where he criticized AMC, and blamed Mad Men's Matthew Weiner for The Walking Dead showrunner, Frank Darabont, for getting fired. In an act of "self preservation" as he puts it, Kurt Sutter has quit Twitter, but doesn't regret what he said:
"My exit from Twitter was quite simple and, c'mon, let's face it, pretty f--king obvious -- I'm a guy desperately in need of buffers. I have big feelings, big reactions, big emotions. All the things that serve me as an artist, but challenge me as a socially-responsible human being...With Twitter, there was no buffer, just me, my big feelings and my big opinions. I don't regret any tweet, nor do I apologize...right or wrong, I said it…
