Right then everyone, let's talk about stuff!
People on chat have been discussing several characters today, and I'm doing this poll to scale community opinions. There will be a poll for each comparison, split into two parts:
Who is more likeable?- The character in the poll that you like the most
Who is a better written character?- The character that is written better and has a stronger dramatic function.
Ben Paul and Billy Greene
The stereotypical weak teenager from the Video Game, Ben Paul probably is one of the most realistic characters in the franchise. However, he is disliked by some for his continued ineptitude and cowardice. Overall, a weak person with good intentions.
Everything a teenage boy wants to be. Billy is a badass sniper who bangs a MILF and gets to throw grenades at people. He is shown to be more emotional than Ben, however he is shown to be braver as well. Billy is infamous for his wasted potential.
Comic Hershel and TV Hershel
To use my favourite word, Comic Hershel is a cunt. He's an asshole who beats his own son and forces his strict moral code onto those around him. However he is also an incredibly well written character, arguably one of the best written in the entirety of the comics.
Everyone loves TV Hershel. He's the exact opposite of his comic counterpart; a friendly old man who always sees the best in people. He is also incredibly well written. I would argue that Comic Hershel is better as a character, but that TV Hershel is a much more likeable guy.
In the words of that pig from Looney Tunes, that's all folks!
