Walking Dead Question

Hey I was wondering how you all feel about this subject. I think that the TV show should keep around people from the beginning of the series. Cause in the comics all you have is Carl, Rick, Andrea, Sophia as the only alive members and to me it doesn't feel like the same series. I think they should have more members from the beginning of the series live longer or else to me it will not feel like the same show.
