Hi everyone, Jaga back again with another blog. I must say I'm enjoying posting these as opposed to forum topics, because otherwise I'd be clogging up the forums with all my stupid ideas and opinions. Anyways, I have to say, I've been enjoying the Michonne game very much, but I can't help but feel it's a missed opportunity. I understand her status as a character and all, and I understand her absense was a cool thing to explore, but we already knew where she was, alongside her emotional journey - as discussed with Rick in 136.

So, as such, I believe the time skip could have been better used for a telltale game, or can be used again in the future. Here we go:

There are so many unknown things in the time skip, that telltale could help fill in the gap for the main cast, not just the side adventure we already knew about. Exploring the mentalities of all the main cast would be so cool to see, alongside the first time we'd ever see voice acted versions of the comic versions of characters. The time skip has very little information about what happened, but it's not exactly the type of thing that would ruin the story if we knew. We know what life is like either side, so showing at least partially on how A got to B would be amazing.

Alongside this, an open world version of the Hilltop or Alexandria, allowing you to see how things really run, alongside being able to speak to the diverse cast of characters you recognise, would be awesome. I know it's a little much to ask for, but even parts of these cities would be cool to see, just to get a true idea of scale and the day to day activists would give some insight.

So, I have the following two ideas:

1) The Herd Crew: following Eugene would be great because he has a huge amount of development across the time skip, so you could do a lot with him, especially regarding his relationship with other characters. Eugene, Rosita, Jesus, Aaron and Heath would be a great group of characters to interact with as you deal with a heard, coming across whatever situation to drive the story. You could always work some original characters to keep some deaths, but maybe the threat just isn't there.

2) Carl: My favourite idea of the two, the player plays as Carl, with you and Rick escorting Sophia back to the hilltop after a visit to Alexandria. On the visit, something goes wrong, and Carl and Sophia are forced to stand up and get out of the given situation (my suggestion would be the classic apocalypse shopping centre scenario) - People love comic Carl and Sophia is severely underused, so showing them growing up, especially if Rick's leg is bad at that point in the story, could be cool to see you care for Rick as Carl.

3) Hilltop: Taking control of Maggie, the hilltop game can further document life as the leader of an entire community, as well as your relationship with Sophia, baby Hershel and Jesus. Perhaps whatever adventure the game entails could involve Maggie meeting either the Rose's or Dante for the first time.

Anyway, I think it's a goldmine for game ideas, let me know your thoughts and if you have any ideas!
