If you saw me editing articles of deceased characters in present tense, leave it that way. I thought it seemed weird that Shane's (TV) profile said "'Shane Walsh is Rick's partner and best friend since high school, he harbors feelings for Lori, Rick's wife." I changed it, believing it should say "Shane Walsh was Rick's partner and best friend since high school, he harboured. feelings for Lori, Rick's wife." Due to the fact that he was deceased.

My edit was undone by Axel TWD, and I asked on his talk page why. This is our conversation as follows:

Why do we have present tense on dead characters pages? They were apart of the group, but not anymore, cos they're dead. T-Dogs profile is in past tense, thats the bit that confused me.

I understand how it can be confusing to have present tense on deceased character pages.  We keep the pages present tense so the articles act as a sort of documentation of the character's lives after the apocalypse.  Many pages are incorrectly in the past tense, so I ask you to do anything you can to help us fix that.  Also, spread the word!  Thanks.

So if you guys come across deceased characters that have their starting bio in past tense, (as in the bio under their quote), change it to present tense. I'm currently trying to edit as many as I can, but in the meantime, you guys can help out too.
