Okay this is HUGE. The Walking Dead has made the American Film Institute's top ten shows of the year list! This means that the walking dead has now gone under the awards academys' radar. For any of you guys who don't get the big deal of awards, shows that have little viewers get to stay on because of nominations. Now you might ask: "why does the walking dead need awards if it's already got tons of viewers?" 1.) It will be considered art by everyone. It will be shown as one of the greatest shows on history. Viewers doesn't signal quality. NCIS is just your regular cop show yet it's the highest rated show on television. Reality shows get tons of viewers as well.

2.) If the Walking Dead ever loses popularity because of something stupid like a character dying, it will need awards to keep it afloat.

That is all
