Woah.... GROSS?. I may have not read the book, but I heard about it...
It could be Sophia, exept older. Becuz.... IDK
How would that be gross??
How would that be gross??
yeah, I feel it the same way, and also after East, Maggie seems to trust Enid and also like her...
I like Maggie and Enid's bond, it's about time Maggie found a friend besides Glenn (who by the way, unnecessarily ditched her in East. I felt sorry for her when she was left standing on her own. Glenn's a piece o' shit).
I think they have a sisterly bond, rather than mother and daughter.
Enid was sent from another surviving group to Alexandria to be safe. The adults traveling with her were not her parents, they were escorting her. She doesn't confide info to Carl about her mother, because her mother is leader of this other group. They live off the Earth, thus Enid is more comfortable outside the gates of Alexandria.
Nah dude definitly not a replacement Lydia. She is definitly replacement Sophia they alreay set her up for that.
Not to mention she is to mentally stable to be Lydia. As wierd as it sounds it's extremely important to have Lydia previously sexually assulted by wisperers. It one provides a motive for her as a character (to seek out a better life) Two its what showes how commited Alpha to being leader and obeying the rules and values she helped put in place for the wisperers. (Truely showing how primal they are) and humanizes her as a person. Alpha reaches a wierd understanding with Rick about Lydia when she realizes that her own daughter is safer with her enemy then with her and lets lydia stay with them. Showing Rick and readers there is still some humanity behind the mask of the Wisperers.
Enid is just way to normal and happy to have went through that, also the SophiaCarlLydia triangle is about the only thing Comic Carl has going for him so lets not take that away from him.
