The Walking Dead Deluxe TV Games is a series of simple self-contained games that come packed inside a standalone controller with a pair of A/V jacks dangling from it, created by JAKKS Pacific.

The Walking Dead Deluxe TV Games contains a controller shaped like a pump action shotgun with multiple levels, and a variety of game modes.

JAKKS Pacific has made several other award-winning Plug It In & Play TV Game contollers, including a Star Wars, Toy Story and Spiderman controller game.[1]

JAKKS Pacific showcased the first ‘Walking Dead Deluxe TV Games’ at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) ShowStoppers Media Preview Event at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on January 10, 2012.

The Walking Dead: Zombie Hunter[]

Main article: The Walking Dead: Zombie Hunter

In this game players must rescue urban survivors from a zombie apocalypse. Players use shotguns, rifles, and crossbows to kill waves of zombies that lurch toward the screen; enemies emit green splashes of blood when hit. Bonuses are awarded for successful headshots, and players lose points for shooting/killing unarmed civilians. Red blood effects appear on screen when players' character incurs damage.


The Walking Dead: Battleground[]

Main article: The Walking Dead: Battleground

In this game first-person shooter players assume the role of a former prison guard battling a zombie apocalypse. Players use sniper rifles, shotguns, machine guns, and grenade launchers to kill hordes of attacking zombies. Players move through levels and are awarded points for accuracy and the number of walkers they kill. Gameplay is highlighted by realistic gunfire, screams of pain, and comic-book style blood splats on screen corners.
