- —Terrance about the Natives moving to Broke Jaw Ranch.[src]
Nothing is known about Terrance's life before the apocalypse.
After Charlene's memorial service, Terrance is having breakfast with Gabe and other kids outside. Later, Terrance joins Gretchen, Alicia, Gabe, and other kids to the underground hangout spot where they drink, smoke from a bong, and talk. He listens intently as Alicia shares her experiences outside the ranch. Later that evening, Terrance and the others return to the main part of the ranch in good spirits.
Terrance is gathered at the front gate with Gabe and the other ranch residents as Madison, Jeremiah, and Nick reveal that the entire Trimbol family had been killed by the Native Americans. Terrance is very upset at the loss of his friend, Gretchen.
Terrance is at the front gate with other residents when the Black Hat Natives arrive. He expresses his frustration at the Natives moving onto the ranch. That evening, he sits with Troy and other militiamen and listens to Troy as he encourages him to take action against the Natives. Terrance is still effected by Gretchen’s death, saying she was good, which Troy agrees.
The next morning, reeking of alcohol, Terrance stumbles into the dining area with a gun in his pocket and shoots John Hogan in the arm before being subdued by Crazy Dog in a choke hold. Terrance's trachea is crushed in the choke hold and eventually succumbs to his injury.
- Himself (Caused)
After Terrance shot John in the arm, Lee strangles him and then crushes his trachea, mortally injuring him. While Terrance initially survives, Alicia later tells Walker that Terrance's throat is crushed and they can't fix it, meaning that Terrance will soon asphyxiate.
