Sasha is shown to be a fiery yet compassionate young woman. Along with her brother, Sasha initially has strong morals, but often questions the safety of other survivalist groups and communities. This is shown when Carl locks she and her fellow survivors into a cell-block after they arrive at the prison, to which she panics and yells at Carl, being unaware of the nature of Carl's group, ensuring their situation is not precarious. Later, when she arrives at Woodbury, she begins to question The Governor and soon on the journey to Terminus with Maggie and Bob, as she strongly suspects their destination to be false hope, which proves to be true.

Sasha is first seen in The Prison's common room, where she is talking with Beth about Judith. Later, she and Tyreese tell the group about how they managed to survive through the past months. She is then seen assisting Tyreese, Allen, and Ben with taking Donna's body outside to bury her. When Allen comes up with the idea of taking over The Prison, Sasha and Tyreese manage to get him and Ben to give up the plan, saying that "they're good people." At the end of the day, Tyreese's group returns to the kitchen, attempting to convince Rick into allowing them stay, saying that they'll "help with anything," and Sasha explains that they won't make it on their own, saying that it's like "Ten Little Indians" outside. When Rick begins hallucinating and yelling at "Lori" to get out, Sasha and the rest of them leave the prison (believing Rick was yelling at them).

Sasha is seen with Tyreese and the rest of the Woodbury residents, as they prepare to move out to attack the prison, when her brother announces to The Governor that he and Sasha are not going with them, because they "don't kill people, just walkers", saying they are staying to protect the children, and if he wants to, they leave when he comes back. The Governor then gives Tyreese a rifle and coldly thanks them, leaving Sasha scared with his reaction. When Rick, Daryl, Michonne, and Karen reach Woodbury, Sasha and Tyreese are told that The Governor went mad and killed all Woodbury soldiers who wanted to retreat. Glenn and Abraham's group continue along the tracks, uncovering more bloody messages from Maggie, Bob and Sasha. After Glenn and Abraham's groups part ways at a mountainside railway tunnel, Sasha and her group later meet with Abraham, Rosita and Eugene on the other side. The six return to the railway tunnel that Glenn and Tara entered in pursuit of Maggie and save the two from advancing walkers. The group decides to settle down in the tunnel that night and Sasha learns of Abraham's mission and Eugene's claims. She agrees to go on with the group to Washington, but only after arriving at Terminus to see if Tyreese has made it. Bob agrees with her, on both counts. The following day, Sasha and the rest of the group arrive on foot at Terminus. After easily entering the compound's perimeter, the group eventually come upon a middle aged woman, Mary, cooking in a courtyard. The woman smiles and introduces herself, telling them she'll get them settled before offering them a plate of food.

Sasha survives the attack by Lamson and is seen on the roof-top with Tyreese as they watch over Rick, who is making himself known to the police officers at the hospital. Tyreese confesses to Sasha that he previously had the chance to kill Martin, the Hunter Sasha murdered, but didn't. Tyreese then asks what happened to them and wonders if they're still the same as they were as kids. Sasha dismisses this and tells him that he is still the same, which is a good thing, but she can't be anymore. The two then proceed to watch over Rick. Sasha shoots an incoming walker, revealing to the officers that Rick has people covering him.

Sasha later accompanies Rick and the others as they meet with Dawn to exchange prisoners. It goes smoothly, and Carol and Beth are returned safely, but Dawn insists that Noah return to the hospital. Her insistence results in tension, but Noah agrees to prevent further bloodshed. Dawn makes a snide remark to Noah, which angers Beth, who attacks her with a pair of scissors. Officer Shepherd defuses the situation and tells them that Dawn was always the problem. The group are invited to stay at the hospital, but Rick refuses and in return demands that anybody who wants to leave the hospital be allowed to do so with him. Only Noah agrees to leave.

Sasha is first seen carting walkers individually into a mass grave alone, outside Alexandria. She then lies in the grave in silence, overcome with mixed emotions. Sasha is later seen sitting quietly in Alexandria's chapel, when Gabriel walks in. She asks him if he can help her rid her wild emotions, to which he replies "No". Gabriel accuses her of killing even when she had no reason to or it wasn't in self-defense, and aggressively throws guilt on her shoulders. Not wanting to believe this, she shouts repetitively, "STOP! STOP!", before the two have a brief fight. Sasha ultimately wins this fight and points her weapon at Gabriel, who is lying on the floor with Sasha keeping him down with her foot. Maggie walks in and defuses this situation, and the three of them are later seen in a circle in the chapel, praying.

Tyreese is the older brother of Sasha. Surviving together, they share a close sibling bond. Despite this, Sasha does not share the same outlook as Tyreese and has different views on his crucial leadership decisions. While Sasha is pragmatic and fierce, Tyreese is more open-hearted and compassionate. The two, however, share the same moral values, which is shown when they both disapprove of Allen and Ben’s plan to overtake the prison. When they enter Woodbury after rejection at the prison, Sasha shares guard duty with her brother and makes fun of his poor shooting skills compared to Sasha’s accurate hits.

Once The Governor storms the prison and causes everyone to separate, Sasha does not focus on finding Tyreese, fearing him to be dead. She faces her fears and decides to go to Terminus reluctantly, a supposed safe haven. Relieved that her brother is not at the cannibal compound after her suspicions are proven to be correct, she is soon happily reunited with Tyreese as she escapes with the now reunited group. When Sasha’s boyfriend Bob dies, Tyreese tries to help Sasha retain her humanity and offers to stab Bob’s head to avoid reanimation. He is the only person to comfort her in her grief, and while she is initially unwilling to receive support and open up to others, her brother convinces her that Bob would have wanted her to do just that.

Tyreese and Sasha’s perspectives on survival differ through their separated experiences. Tyreese believes in forgiveness, and tries to tell Sasha that she can be the woman she was prior to the apocalypse like he is, but Sasha disproves the notion, believing the violence, death and double-crossing can never bring her back to her compassionate side. While they differ in personality, Sasha and her brother both share the same boiled rage in loss. This is shown when Tyreese’s girlfriend is killed and he fights a walker herd in suicidal rage. Sasha performs a similar act, breaking formation after her own brother’ s loss. When Tyreese is killed, Sasha is distraught, not being able to pick the shovel to help bury him. She suffers from severe trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder over her losses, and is unable to receive comfort from anybody, despite the efforts of Maggie. She suffers in trying to adjust to normalcy in Alexandria and receives flashes to her brother

In "30 Days Without An Accident," Sasha speaks to Bob about proving his value to the group, and seems to want to keep an eye on him. After the virus hits, Bob is part of the dangerous run to find medicine to help save the lives of sick prisoners, including Sasha. In "Too Far Gone," Sasha thanks Bob for his help, insisting he accepts her gratitude even as he says he doesn't need it (Sasha was not aware of his endangerment to the group because of his need for alcohol). When she nearly passes out during the conversation, he helps steady her. During the Governor's assault on the prison soon after this, Bob is shot, and Sasha, along with Maggie, promises to treat his wound as soon as they escape the premises.

When Sasha arrives at the prison with her group, Rick is initially distrustful but Sasha tries to convince him to let her group stay. He scares the group away after he shouts to get out, which is directed at the hallucination of his wife Lori who appears to him, not Sasha and the others. Rick accepts Sasha into the prison group after she helps protect the civilians of Woodbury, bringing the entire survivors of Woodbury to the prison. Sasha addresses concerns to Rick such as the illness and someone feeding rats as a council member. Once she reunites with the group, Sasha steps up and participates with Rick and Michonne on a supply run. Rick shows his concern for Sasha when she runs off to find Bob who is missing, and the two participate in confronting and killing the Hunters who have eaten Bob's leg. Sasha becomes a primary sniper of the group, as Rick relies on her shooting at a rescue mission in Atlanta and at the gates of Alexandria, calling her name to kill a walker.
Upon meeting Sasha, Rick was distrustful of her and told her that she could not stay with them. Sasha offers her help and tries to convince Rick into letting her and her group join, but leaves without any arguments when Rick shouted at her to get out; he was actually shouting at a hallucination of Lori. Rick later lets Sasha rejoin the prison group and comes to trust her as a member of their group. Since then, Sasha respects Rick as leader and stands with him in his decisions.

Sasha and Hershel have a good relationship, both are part of the council. In Internment Hershel saved Sasha when she was sick, even commented that she is lucky to be alive and that she only is because of Hershel. Once recovering enough to walk properly Sasha began helping Hershel with the other flu victims, Hershel was shown to be very grateful. Hershel also mentioned that Sasha had put down the victims that had died before reanimation this is presumably because Hershel himself found it incredibly hard too. Also once Hershel was caught and held hostage outside Sasha was shown to be outraged and worried. After The Governor decapitated Hershel, Sasha, like many other people from the group, opened fire on The Governor and his men. It is presumed that Sasha was very upset by Hershel's death but didn't have time to show it.

I told you to go. You, you can't do anything. It worked out for you. Don't you see that?! YOU can't help me. Nobody, n-- Noah... I told him he wouldn't make it.
―Sasha to Michonne about trying to help her cope with her grief[src]

Sasha is a main character and survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. A former firefighter before the apocalypse, Sasha belonged to a small group led by elder brother Tyreese, trying to find a safe haven, and soon became one of the newcomers at the prison. After the downfall of the prison, she formed a relationship with fellow group survivor and newcomer, Bob Stookey. She is currently the last surviving prison newcomer, and only known survivor of her family and previous group. After the deaths of Bob and Tyreese, Sasha becomes much hardened and almost loses her mind, shown through her behavior in the Alexandria Safe-Zone, hesitating to believe in anything that might be safe anymore.

Overview

Personality

Sasha is shown to be a fiery yet compassionate young woman. Along with her brother, Sasha initially has strong morals, but often questions the safety of other survivalist groups and communities. This is shown when Carl locks she and her fellow survivors into a cell-block after they arrive at the prison, to which she panics and yells at Carl, being unaware of the nature of Carl's group, ensuring their situation is not precarious. Later, when she arrives at Woodbury, she begins to question The Governor and soon on the journey to Terminus with Maggie Greene and Bob, as she strongly suspects their destination to be false hope, which proves to be true.

She has shown leadership qualities, having been the co-leader of one of one of the runs the group goes on, along with Daryl Dixon. Bob asks for her permission to come along and she is shown to be giving everyone else orders. Tyreese jokingly asks "Was there ever a time you weren't the boss of me?". On the road with Maggie and Bob, she insists they follow her lead and find a place to live by themselves, proposing a more practical approach to survival. Sasha appears to be a realist.

Pre-Apocalypse

Jacksonville, Florida

Sasha and her older brother, Tyreese, both lived somewhere in Jacksonville, Florida before the outbreak began. They had a neighbor called Jerry. As children, Sasha used to follow Tyreese around and copy everything he did. When she grew up, Sasha was employed as a firefighter.

Post-Apocalypse

During the outbreak's onset, she and her older brother, Tyreese stayed at a bunker in their neighbor Jerry's backyard for about 7 months, until they ran out of supplies. After that, they met up with Allen, Donna, and Ben and joined a larger group, which had about 25 survivors at one point. The camp was eventually overrun, and many were killed. For about 6 weeks they wandered until they arrived at the prison.

Season 3

"Made to Suffer"

Sasha makes her debut appearance in this episode. She, along with the rest of her group, discover a collapsed part of the wall at the back of the prison. She debates on whether or not it's a good idea to enter. She ends up following the group's leader, and her brother, Tyreese, into a broken down part of the fence leading into the prison. While they hold up in the boiler room, they are attacked by numerous walkers. In the middle of the battle against the dead, Carl appears and saves them. Despite the confusion, Carl guides everyone back to the cell block.

"The Suicide King"

Sasha is first seen in the prison's common room, where she is talking with Beth Greene about Judith.

"I Ain't a Judas"

Sasha and her group run into Andrea during her return to the prison. Milton Mamet and Andrea tell them about Woodbury, and Milton offers to take them there. She and the group arrive in Woodbury, and mention the prison during a conversation with The Governor. Tyreese says he can provide some details about the layout of the prison. Throughout this discussion, she is continuously stared at by The Governor.

"Prey"

Sasha and Tyreese are seen guarding the wall and Sasha makes fun of how poor a shot Tyreese is when Andrea comes and tries to lure them away to another part of the wall. When they refuse, Andrea confesses that she's leaving Woodbury and they should too. She warns them about The Governor before fleeing. Sasha is later seen at the walker pit and witnesses the fight between Allen and Tyreese. She tries intervening to save Allen when Tyreese holds him over the pit.

"Welcome to the Tombs"

Sasha is seen with Tyreese and the rest of the Woodbury residents, as they prepare to move out to attack the prison, when her brother announces to The Governor that he and Sasha are not going with them, because they "don't kill people, just walkers", saying they are staying to protect the children, and if he wants to, they leave when he comes back. The Governor then gives Tyreese a rifle and coldly thanks them, leaving Sasha scared with his reaction. When Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Karen reach Woodbury, Sasha and Tyreese are told that The Governor went mad and killed all Woodbury soldiers who wanted to retreat. Later, Sasha and Tyreese are taken, along with the remaining Woodbury survivors, to the prison, where they join the group.

Season 4

"30 Days Without An Accident"

Sasha is seen readying a vehicle with Tyreese to go on a supply run to Big Spot. Bob asks her if he can go. She is initially reluctant to let him come along, saying he has only been with them a week. "You were out on your own when Daryl found you. I just want to make sure you know how to play on a team," she tells him, but ultimately decides to let him come.

At Big Spot, Sasha lays out the group's plan to get in and get out. Things go awry when Bob accidentally breaks a shelf, which lands on him. Walkers suddenly begin falling in from holes in the ceiling. Sasha is seen fighting with a pool cue alongside Michonne. Zach is bitten by one while saving Bob. A helicopter makes the roof cave in, crushing Zach and the walkers while Sasha and the others escape.

"Infected"

She is first seen with the other "council" members discussing the situation at the prison and how to deal with it before she and Karen persuade Tyreese that its best to put Karen in isolation. Later she is seen helping the others deal with the walkers at the fences and is the one to spot the rat corpses suggesting that someone is feeding the walkers.

"Isolation"

Sasha is seen exiting one of the cell blocks, coughing heavily, and running a fever. Glenn Rhee and Hershel look at her with great concern. She states that she needs to find Dr. S and that she will be all right. She goes to look for him in Cell Block A where the sick people are staying, but when she find him she discovers that he is also sick. She is quarantined behind a glass barrier, which is guarded by Tyreese. They are later seen talking and she expresses her condolences for Karen. Tyreese tells her that a group went out looking for antibiotics for the sick, which he later joins to make sure she recovers. Tyreese asks Carol to look after Sasha while he is gone.

"Internment"

Sasha gets worse as the episode goes on. Hershel tells her to take over the intubator attached to Henry, who is in the final stage of the deadly flu, while he goes to help other patients. Sasha leaves her post later for Glenn to take over. Henry later succumbs and turns. Sasha later becomes dehydrated, so Hershel performs I.V. treatment to her and she is revived. Sasha then tells Hershel that she always calculated everything to live as long as possible and is thankful for his "stupid" behavior, (Hershel risking getting sick to save the flu infected survivors). At the end of the episode Sasha is cradled by the recently arrived Tyreese. It is not shown, but it is inferred that she was given the injection to stop the flu.

"Too Far Gone"

Sasha's condition has improved. However she still hasn't made a full recovery, as she nearly faints while speaking to Bob. She tries to thank him, to his disapproval, because she does not know of his actions during the run.

She is later seen with Bob and Maggie shooting at The Governor's men. Bob is shot and the trio is left behind as the bus drives away. Sasha doesn't seem too worried and says they'll figure it out.

"Inmates"

Sasha is seen on a river bank in the forest with Maggie, bandaging Bob's shoulder. She objects to Maggie's plan of going to look for Glenn and the prison bus, but after Bob decides to go with Maggie, she follows. They later find the bus, now filled with the undead prison occupants, which they proceed to clear out.

"Alone"

Sasha is with Bob and Maggie fighting off walkers in fog. Sasha notices Bob is bitten and shows deep sorrow, but when she finds out Bob wasn't bitten the three cheer. Sasha disagrees with Bob and Maggie about going to Terminus, but later starts walking. Sasha tries to convince Bob to find a safe place to stay but he still wants to go to Terminus with Maggie. When Bob and Sasha find out Maggie left for Terminus they go after her. Sasha finds a safe building and she tries to convince Bob to come with her, but Bob kisses her and goes after Maggie. Sasha looks out of the building window and sees Maggie. Sasha and Maggie fight off walkers and go after Bob, all three reunited.

"Us"

Glenn and Abraham Ford's group continue along the tracks, uncovering more bloody messages from Maggie, Bob and Sasha. After Glenn and Abraham's groups part ways at a mountainside railway tunnel, Sasha and her group later meet with Abraham, Rosita Espinosa and Eugene Porter on the other side.

"A"

Sasha appears in the train car at Terminus when Rick, Carl, Michonne and Daryl enter.

Season 5

"No Sanctuary"

Sasha helps prepare weapons to attack the Terminus guards. When Eugene starts talking about protecting himself so he can cure the virus, Sasha questions him, causing Eugene to reveal his intentions to the group. As Terminus is under attack, Sasha escapes with the other survivors. In the woods, Sasha shares an emotional reunion with Tyreese and happily walks alongside him as the survivors make their journey away from Terminus.

"Strangers"

Sasha is seen playing a game with Bob called 'good out of the bad'. After a few rounds they kiss. Sasha is present when the group find Gabriel and he leads them to his church. Sasha goes with Bob, Rick, Michonne and Gabriel to the local food bank to look for supplies. When they discover the floor has fallen through, Sasha creates a plan to use the shelves to block them away from the walkers to take them out more easily. When Bob is dragged under the water by a walker, Sasha rushes to help him. Later in the church, Sasha and Bob are sat together during Abrahams speech. After the speech she leaves to go hold Judith, giving Bob one last kiss before he leaves the church.

"Four Walls and a Roof"

Sasha is first seen wandering in the woods, looking for Bob after he goes missing. Rick and Tyreese bring her back inside. Sasha assumes Bob, Carol and Daryl's disappearances are connected to Gabriel, so angrily confronts him with a knife. She listens as Gabriel breaks down and admits his sins. After Bob is dumped outside, she rushes to him, enlisting Tara and others to carry him inside. She is shocked by what has happened to his leg and offers him medicine, but he refuses and reveals his bite. Sasha stays by Bob's side when he is moved into Gabriel's office. When Rick, Maggie, Glenn, Abraham, Tara and Michonne plan to leave the church and kill the cannibals Sasha volunteers to go with them. Tyreese tries to persuade her to stay with Bob for when he wakes up but she refuses. When they ambush the cannibals, Sasha kills Martin by stabbing him repeatedly in the chest. Sasha is present as everyone says their goodbyes to Bob, holding his hand before leaving him alone with Rick and Judith. Sasha is then with Bob when he wakes up from a dream about her. Sasha gives Bob one last smile and asks him 'whats the good that comes out of this bad?'. Bob then dies and Sasha starts crying, readying her knife to stop him reanimating. Tyreese then walks in and takes the knife from her, not letting her go through this. Sasha is then seen wearing Bob's jacket over his grave, making a makeshift gravestone from twigs and rope. Sasha stays at the church to help find Carol and Daryl, instead of going ahead to Washington with Abraham and his group.

"Crossed"

Sahsa is severely troubled by Bob's loss and opens the episode by hacking apart a pew in Father Gabriel's church, while Tyreese comments to Daryl about how hard losing him was. Sasha is wearing Bob's green military jacket while she helps fortify the church.

In the truck, on the way to the hospital in Atlanta, she refuses Tyreese's attempts at consoling her, but later on when she tears Bob's jacket while unloading equipment, she accepts his help.

There is a moment when Officer Lamson first says his name is "Bob," and we can tell that might be very meaningful to Sasha. She guards him and gets to know him while they wait for the plan to come to fruition. Bob Lamson tells her about a friend of his that he was replaced with that took the last load of survivors to the evacuation center, and that he recognized his animated corpse, fused with the blacktop on the way into the area. He asks Sasha to take care of him, and she asks where the zombie is. They go together about to the other side of the factory floor and he tells her where his friend is. When she lines up the shot, though, he slams into her, knocking her unconscious on the window, and runs out the door, with his hands still bound.

"Coda"

Sasha later accompanies Rick and the others as they meet with Dawn Lerner to exchange prisoners. Dawn reacts instinctively and shoots Beth in the head, killing her instantly. Sasha and the others witness this in shock and horror. Daryl, enraged, shoots Dawn in the head, killing her as well. Officer Shepherd defuses the situation and tells them that Dawn was always the problem. The group are invited to stay at the hospital, but Rick refuses and in return demands that anybody who wants to leave the hospital be allowed to do so with him. Only Noah agrees to leave.

The group depart the hospital just as Maggie, Abraham, Glenn, Michonne and the others arrive. Sasha watches on in helplessness as Maggie sobs hysterically at the sight of Beth's body, which is being carried out of the hospital by a devastated Daryl.

"What Happened and What's Going On"

Sasha is seen towards the end of the episode. Tyreese mentions her when telling Noah about their father, who used to tell he and Sasha to always watch and listen to the news so that they have their eyes open about the atrocities that take place in the world. After Tyreese is bitten and dies, she is seen near the end of the episode at his funeral, receiving a shovel by Daryl to finish burying her brother, Tyreese. However, due to her catatonia, she is unable to bury him and staggers away from his grave in despair.

"Them"

Sasha is first seen looking for water in the forest, finding a dried up stream containing several dead frogs. She then reunites with Maggie and Daryl before rejoining the whole group. She then talks to Michonne as the group are walking, talking about how she could take on the walkers following them and how she is not like her brother. When the group plans to take out the walkers behind them by pushing them off a cliff, Sasha joins in the effort. But she decides to not follow the plan and begins stabbing walkers instead, extremely angry whilst doing it. In her rage she almost stabs Michonne and cuts Abraham on his upper arm. Michonne then pushes her to the ground to stop her. WHilst walking, Abraham offers Sasha some alcohol he found but she refuses. Sasha is next seen killing four dogs when they were about to attack the group on the road. After collecting firewood, she tells Noah that if he doesn't think he will make it he wont. When water is mysteriously left for them and it begins to rain, she is one of the only people not to seem happy about it, along with Daryl and Maggie. The group then find a barn to shelter in from a storm, where Sasha sits alone in the corner. When a herd attacks the barn, Sasha is the third to get up and try to hold the door, after Maggie and Daryl. The next morning, Daryl and Maggie discuss her brother before Maggie wakes her up and takes her outside. The storm has destroyed the woods nearby, impaling and crushing walkers. The two girls head to a field and sit on a log, watching the sunrise. Sasha explains that she doesn't think she can survive, but Maggie persuades her she can. Her and Maggie are then approached by a stranger asking for Rick, when the music box starts playing.

"The Distance"

Sasha brings Aaron into the barn, carrying his backpack and vouching for him being safe. She rides on the RV for both legs of the journey to Alexandria.

"Remember"

Sasha appears throughout the episode, first killing a walker just inside the gate. She is one of the only people not to be assigned a job by the end of the episode, along with Daryl.

"Forget"

Sasha goes outside the wall and shoots framed photographs as target practice. When she returns, she asks the leader Deanna Monroe if she could be lookout. Deanna says she'll think about it if she comes to a welcome party for her and the other new arrivals. However, the atmosphere is making her uncomfortable as the guests worry about little matters such as pasta makers and begins reliving experiences with Tyreese, Bob and Beth and their subsequent deaths before out-bursting at an Alexandria resident and storming off. The next day as she stands near the gate she tells Deanna that Alexandria "isn't real." Deanna disagrees with her before handing Sasha a box of ammunition and lets her out the gate.

"Try"

Sasha is seen at night in the tower, taking out a walker which is heading towards Alexandria. The next day she is no where to be found, hence Michonne and Rosita going to look for her. She has been hunting walkers in the woods all day when they find her. Walkers attack and the three women fight them off. When Sasha runs out of ammo in her clip, she uses her knife. A walker tackles her to the ground and she loses her knife. Whilst reaching for it, Michonne takes it out with her gun. She smacks away Michonne's hand when offered a hand up. She breaks down and tells them they can't help her and feels guilty for Noah's death. Later during Rick's fight with Pete, she is back in the tower, sniping walkers again.

"Conquer"

Season 6

Sasha will appear in this season.

Relationships

Tyreese

Was there ever a time, you weren't the boss of me?
―Tyreese to Sasha[src]

The siblings continue to look out for each other and carefully plan their decisions together. She stops him from taking his aggression out on Allen, possibly to avoid getting exiled from Woodbury. The two later decide to protect the innocent civilians as The Governor plans to assault the prison with the intention of leaving afterwards. When The Governor massacres his own militia and some civilians, Sasha and her brother work together in making sure the survivors leave Woodbury and safely make their way to the prison, offering a larger community now. They go on supply runs together during their stay. When Sasha becomes ill at the prison with the flu spreading, a devastated Tyreese comforts his sister before deciding to off on a supply run to find her a cure. He returns with the medicine needed and his sister recovers.

She struggles to believe that Alexandria is a safe haven and often has flashbacks of her brother, leading to mental instability.

Bob Stookey

So what is it? The good that comes out of this bad?.
―Sasha to Bob before he passes away[src]

In "Inmates", Sasha is seen bandaging his shoulder, and seems to trust his judgment (when he decides to follow Maggie in her search for Glenn). She wonders at him smiling when he's been shot and in the aftermath of the fall of the prison, and they share a mild flirtation.

In "Alone", Bob and Sasha become even closer, as Maggie is increasingly withdrawn, and finally leaves them altogether. She constantly wonders at his optimistic attitude and happy outlook on the bleak situation they are in. At one point Bob and Sasha share a kiss when she tearfully tells him that he doesn't have to be alone anymore. Bob challenges Sasha's desire to isolate herself emotionally, finally parting ways with her because of his desire to track down Maggie and be a part of something. Sasha eventually realizes he's right, and after she stumbles upon Maggie, they happily reunite with Bob. When they eventually find Glenn and continue onto Terminus, it appears as though they are in some semblance of a relationship.

After the escape from Terminus, they are seen happily playing a game called 'the good out of the bad', sharing kisses and laughs.

When Bob is found after being mutilated by the Terminants, she is first relieved until finding out about his walker bite. She becomes extremely angry and brutally murders Martin, somewhat in retaliation for what they did to Bob.

She stays with him in his last moments and holds him and even smiles when he tells her about a dream he had of her, in which she was happy and smiling at him.

She becomes inconsolable and filled with rage at his death and seems to still be grieving his passing, and wears his Army jacket in memory of him. Accidentally tearing the jacket causes her to become angry.

During the hostage-taking plan involving Grady Hospital cops, she bonds with a cop named Bob, perhaps because of memories of her Bob. He ultimately betrays her, knocking her unconscious and escaping the building, thus further hardening her resolve.

Allen

Sasha and Allen have survived together for a certain period of time together with their respective families. After the deaths of his wife Donna and his son Ben, Allen proves hostile to both Sasha and her brother. Allen decides to follow The Governor to attack the prison while Sasha and Tyreese do not.

Donna

Sasha and Donna have survived together for a certain period of time together with their respective families. At one point Donna is bitten on the arm. They see the prison nearby and realize it is a place to hide or live in. Sasha wants to kill Donna before they go in the prison, as she is already close to dead and will hold them back. At the end Tyreese convinces her sister to bring Donna with them, where she soon passes away from her injuries. Sasha helps bury her corpse.

Ben

Sasha, Tyreese, and Ben's family were a group of survivors together throughout the epidemic. It's unknown if they knew of each other before the outbreak or if they met at a recent survivor camp; however, she seems to be like an authority figure to Ben, as several times she will talk to him in a motherly tone, and when Ben and his father attempt to talk about killing the prison survivors, she looks at Ben in a harsh way to try to convince him to stop after Beth was nice and gave them shovels to bury his mother.

Ben goes a separate way from Sasha and Tyreese in Woodbury, as he's actively involved in working as a soldier for the Governor. He is killed soon before they flee the town.

Rick Grimes

It could have been us.
―Rick to Sasha after both kill the Hunters[src]

Carl Grimes

Hey, what are you doing? Open the door. Open this door. Come on, man, we're not animals. Hey! You can't just leave us in here! Open this door! Open the door, now!
―Sasha to Carl[src]

After hearing the screaming of Sasha's group being attacked inside the prison, Carl goes to investigate. Carl helps the group and brings them to safety. He then locks them inside a room, as the group was unsure what to do with them. Sasha is enraged towards Carl for locking them in, and angrily demands that he open the door, though she manages to calm down when Tyreese tells her to do so. Carl was later angry about Rick's decision to let Sasha join the prison but as time goes on, the two have formed a friendship and get along well.

Judith Grimes

From the first time she met Judith at the prison, Sasha showed her affection, saying Judith was the first child she had seen born after the apocalypse. Sasha like most other group members are also very protecting and caring for Judith's well being as in the church she jumped at the chance to hold her.

Glenn Rhee

Glenn and Sasha have not interacted much. It can be assumed they have a relatively stable relationship.

Daryl Dixon

Daryl and Sasha have a stable relationship, though they don't interact much. After learning of Bob's death, Daryl expresses concern over her well-being to Tyreese.

Carol Peletier

Carol and Sasha have not interacted much. It can be assumed they have a relatively stable relationship.

Andrea

Andrea had found Sasha and her group and told them of Woodbury. They have little interaction with each other until Andrea decides to leave Woodbury, prompting Sasha to question her suspicions about the place. Andrea gives Sasha and Tyreese advice about leaving Woodbury as The Governor is gearing for war and Sasha reluctantly lets her leave, but regrets letting her go. Later, when speaking to The Governor, Sasha seems to have taken on board Andrea's words, as she appears unconvinced of The Governor speaking to her about Andrea being unwell and paranoid.

Hershel Greene

I don't believe in magic or luck. I do the math and I don't gamble. But I don't know if I'd be here right now if you weren't so damn stupid.
―Sasha to Hershel as she light-heartedly and gratefully about his saving her life

Sasha and Hershel have a good and trusting relationship. Hershel desperately pleaded for Rick to let Sasha's group to join the prison, believing they need the numbers for defense against The Governor. Once Sasha officially joins the community, she and Hershel act as members of the council. In Internment, Hershel saves Sasha when she is sick from the spreading flu. Sasha begins helping Hershel with the other flu victims as she was able to walk again. Hershel is shown to be very grateful. Sasha puts down the victims that die before reanimation as Hershel finds it hard to do. Once Hershel is caught and held hostage outside, Sasha is shown to be outraged and worried. After The Governor decapitated Hershel, Sasha, like many other people from the group, opened fire on The Governor and his men. She mercilessly shoots at the Governor's militia.

Maggie Greene

We cannot split up. Not now!
―Sasha to Maggie[src]

Sasha and Maggie do not interact until the assault of the prison. They escape the prison with Bob, who has been shot. After finding a place to rest and treating Bob's gunshot wound, Maggie and Sasha disagree over Maggie's decision to look for Glenn, believing it is better to look for shelter before they can do anything risky. She eventually follows Maggie as Bob decides to, working together to clear out the walkers in the prison bus.

Sasha saves Maggie's life as a fog comes as they are short on bullets. While Bob and Sasha are sleeping, Maggie, who is still looking for Glenn, leaves a note written in the mud to tell them of her departure. Bob insists on keeping their group together. Sasha disagrees, ultimately going on her own to an abandoned loft. While looking out the window, she sees Maggie unconscious on the pavement, walkers nearby. A panicking Sasha races downstairs to help her; their combined efforts wipe out the walker horde. Maggie admits she needs help and support, and Sasha realizes she needs to let people in. The two women embrace and develop a friendship.

After the deaths of Maggie's sister, Beth and Sasha's brother, Tyreese, Maggie is the only person who Sasha feels somewhat comforted with. Maggie assures Sasha that she is going to survive, and that both of them will survivre together which is "the hard part". As they share a moment of admiring the sunset, they work together in bringing the mysterious Aaron back to the barn where they stay for shelter later.

The two later bond when Maggie stops her from shooting Gabriel, and the three of them are seen joining hands in prayer.

Beth Greene

How are you feeling?
―Sasha to Beth[src]

Sasha and Beth interacted very little but Sasha was very grateful when Beth and Axel brought shovels to Sasha and her group to bury Donna, Sasha then later complimented Beth by telling her she is very good with the baby. Beth, like everyone else seemed to disagree with Rick's choice to kick Sasha and the rest of her group out the prison. After Sasha rejoins the prison group, she gives Beth a warm greeting. When Beth was killed, Sasha was shown to be shocked and very upset, showing the two had developed a strong friendship. Later when struggling to adjust to Alexandria's society Sasha experiences intense flashbacks of Beth, along with Bob and Tyreese, showing that her death is still affecting her.

The Governor

Sasha meets The Governor with Tyreese, Allen and Ben at Woodbury after being introduced to the town by Andrea and Milton. They provide him with information on the prison. Sasha proves to be a good contributer as she defends the walls of Woodbury after arriving. When Andrea tries to warn Sasha to leave because of The Governor, he dismisses her behaviour, telling Sasha that she is delusional, although Sasha openly expresses her doubt on The Governor's beliefs. Unconvinced of his persona and becoming aware of how deranged and unhinged the man is, Sasha and Tyreese quickly act together to avoid being in the assault against the prison and soon leave, saving the Woodbury civilians left over.

Sasha is later a part of the prison group which fights back against The Governor's assault, ending in his death and the deaths of most of his group.

Michonne

We can take them.
―Sasha to Michonne about walkers nearby[src]

Sasha and Michonne have very little interaction until Tyreese's death. They both remained wary of Eugene's claims of his solution to the virus that caused the outbreak and questioned him over this. As the group trudge along with a herd nearby them, Sasha suggests killing them, but Michonne is reluctant, and instructs Sasha not to channel her grief through killing them, inferring that it would make her reckless, like her brother was when Karen died, although Sasha quickly dismisses this, telling her she is not the same as her brother. Later,as Sasha breaks formation to throwing walkers down, Michonne tells Sasha to stop and pushes her away from them, making her aware of her recklessness, showing Michonne's conscious concern for Sasha's wellbeing.

Michonne's concern for Sasha continues as she and Rosita search for her upon hearing that she has been sleeping in the watch tower instead of her house in Alexandria. In the woods, Michonne witnesses Sasha channelling her grief by going on a killing spree on walkers with her rifle, which Michonne has flashes of herself doing the same with her katana, showing that she sees herself in Sasha. However, Sasha becomes enraged by her help, confronting Michonne about the fact that she has settled into the lifestyle of the Alexandria Safe Zone citizens, claiming it "worked out" for her.

Gabriel Stokes

Why wouldn't you want to die? You don't deserve to be here. What you did can never be undone. The dead don't choose, but the choices you made, how you sacrifice your own-- (...) Bob was mutilated. Consumed. Destroyed because of your sins. (...) Your brother felt he was apart from it. He was a part of it. He didn't deserve to be here. You don't!...
―Gabriel to Sasha[src]

Sasha was as distrusting of Gabriel as the rest, but when Bob disappeared she became extremely hostile and suspicious of him. Ultimately she appears to forgive him for what he did and is grateful for his hospitality. In Conquer, their relationship becomes stained when Gabriel accuses her of killing even when she had no reason to or it wasn't in self-defense, and aggressively throws guilt on her shoulders. Not wanting to believe this, she shouts repeatedly, "STOP!

Rosita Espinosa

Rosita shows a conscious concern for Sasha's mental state at the Alexandria Safe Zone upon learning that she has been sleeping in the watch tower and hasn't been seen since. She appears shocked and sympathetic at her anger over dismissing Michonne.

Noah

Noah, I told him he wouldn't make it.
―Sasha to Michonne about Noah[src]

Though the two weren't seen interacting much Sasha believed Noah's claim of Beth's whereabouts and accepted him as a member of the group. However when they were travelling to Washington D.C. and Noah says to her "I don't know if I can make it", she coldly replies "Then you won't". However since Sasha was still grieving over Bob, Tyreese and Beth she may not have meant it as it sounded but it's unknown how personal Noah took this. Regardless Sasha is distraught when she learns Noah was killed by walkers but feels guilty for telling him that he will die, holding herself responsible for his death despite playing no part in it.

Deanna Monroe

This... this isn’t real.
―Sasha to Deanna[src]

Deanna shows a conscious concern for Sasha’s wellbeing and contribution to the community, but welcomes her suggestions and tries to make her see Deanna’s vision for the future of the community overall. She immediately acknowledges that Sasha is undergoing depression over her losses, and remains cautious of giving her a certain job. Once Sasha volunteers to be the primary look-out on the clock tower, Deanna considers her proposition but wants Sasha to attend her party in return. Sasha is unable to adjust to the lifestyle and culture of the members of the community which heightens as Deanna tells her to join the party guests, saying that she only needs to listen. Sasha becomes overwhelmed with the atmosphere and after receiving traumatic flashbacks, storms out. She later declares that the safe zone isn’t real, rejecting the culture Deanna provides, but Deanna tries to make Sasha see a greater purpose, believing Sasha’s words to be bullshit, before handing her a box of ammo, indicating she has given her the job of the primary look-out after all.

Spencer Monroe

Well, if you wanna hang with me I'll make sure you don't get stuck with Mrs. Neudermyer. She really, really likes talking about how much she wants a pasta maker... It's not a conversation you want to have
―Spencer to Sasha when she arrives at the party[src]

Spencer tries to make small talk with Sasha as she enters the party. She later wanders off as she is unable to deal with her trauma.
