Rose Blake (née Garcia) is the wife of Ed Blake, the mother of Brian, Philip and Nina Blake, and the grandmother of Penny Blake. Not much is known about her, but she is mentioned in The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor.

Rose was of Mexican-American ethnicity, her husband being Scot-Irish. Before she was married to Ed, her maiden name was Garcia. It is also said that Philip and Brian, called her, "Mama Rose." Rose would often look after Penny while Philip was working.
Post-Apocalypse

Nothing is known about Rose's life after the outbreak, although she could have died before it even began. She may have survived the outbreak. Her husband also may be alive, but it is most likely that they are both dead, or have reanimated.
