"The pilot was...a friend. Name's Mike. Problem is I promised him a Christian burial. You think I could possibly see to that?"
—Christina to the Governor about Mike.[src]

Mike is a character featured in The Walking Dead: The Fall of the Governor. He is the pilot of the crashed helicopter. He is described to be a very caring man.

Location Unknown

Nothing is known about Mike's life before or as the outbreak began, other than he was a pilot for Fox News.

Mike, along with Christina, survived with a somewhat large group inside the Fox News headquarters. After many months of living off of the food inside the cafeteria, they soon found themselves without much food to go around. This turned many of the group members onto one another. Mike noticed this and tried to escape with Christina, being the only pilot in the building he took the news helicopter. Someone rigged the helicopter to crash in case anyone thought or tried to escape. Mike noticed this as soon as he took off. He ended up making it out of the city, before the helicopter went down. When Martinez finds his body, the entire left side is blackened and disfigured and one of his hands melted and fused to the helicopter control stick.

Killed By

  • Helicopter Crash

Mike died upon impact, but his body was brought to The Governor. When he reanimated, The Governor fed his body to walkers and kept his head inside his fish tank.

After returning from the assault on the prison, Lilly Caul goes to the Governor's apartment and shoots each of the heads in the fish tanks, including Mike's.

Christina Meredith Haben

It is believed that Christina and Mike had a good relationship due to the fact that Mike helped Christina to escape.
