Nothing is known about Marcus before the apocalypse.
Not much is known about Marcus, he joined The Kingdom community some time after the outbreak and later joined the fight against The Saviors . In the defense of the Hilltop, Marcus is stabbed, and left with an unknown status. He is last seen being brought to the Hilltop mansion by Michonne to get checked up on by Harlan.
Later, as more and more injured begin to have the symptoms as if they were bitten, the survivors discover that The Saviors have mucked up their weapons using zombie guts. Harlan quickly comes to the realization that anyone who is injured, no matter how minor, will die. Many of the injured are put down or pass soon after the discovery, it is unknown what happened to Marcus, but it is presumed he succumbed to his injury or was put down after discovering The Saviors "modified weapons".
- Unnamed Savior (Caused)
In Issue 125, within twelve hours after Nicholas dies due to modified weapons, Harlan Carson tells his assistants carrying his dead body, "Put it next to the other bodies", implying that Marcus had died along with the rest of the victims of the modified weapons.
This list shows the victims Marcus has killed:
- Possibly numerous counts of zombies and possibly several Saviors.
- Issue 123 (No Lines)
- Marcus is the first seen survivor to be wounded by The Saviors after their weapon "modification".
- Marcus could be a Hilltop resident, but Ezekiel yelling his name after Marcus is stabbed implies he is from The Kingdom.
