Little is known about Lester's life before or as the outbreak began. He was Warren Bedford's uncle and possibly knew Daryl Dixon and Jess Collins. He was the owner of the local gas station Lucky Les' in Sedalia. He also owns a second Lucky Les' in Lemon Hill.
Not So Lucky Les
After meeting Warren, he tells Daryl that his father and Uncle Lester went to the nearby trailer park to look for family. He also mentions that they have the generator keys for the gas station.
At the trailer park, it is discovered that Lester has died and reanimated as a walker, with the generator keys still on him. Daryl has the option of stealthily taking the keys, or killing him and then taking the keys. Upon his return, Daryl tells Warren that his uncle and father didn't make it.
