Pre-Apocalypse
Nothing is known about Jared before the apocalypse.
After-Apocalypse
Prison Assault
While The Governor and Gabe were talking about damaging the Prison people, Gabe thinks Jared could shoot over the fences instead at them. The Governor notes his name and says it took five months to him to learn to drive the tank. Instead the Prison group is killing almost all of the Woodbury people. After the plan fails, The Governor and his group backs off from the Prison.
After regrouping, and final attack, The Governor thinks they could rebuild the fences, and gets in the tank, and tells Jared to drive. He drives over the fences and possibly leaves the tank. He possibly left with Lilly in to the zombie-filled Prison.
