Donnie is a character first introduced in Issue 124 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is shown keeping watch near the Hilltop Colony while Negan and The Saviors attacked.

Nothing is known about the Donnie's life before or as the outbreak began.
Post-Apocalypse
The Saviors
Donnie is first seen keeping watch atop of a building close by the Hilltop Colony, keeping watch for any stragglers while Negan and the other Saviors attack the Hilltop. During his watch, a van containing Eugene, Carson, and the rest of the survivors appear. Eugene quickly spots him after they turn on their headlights and attempts to have the lights turned off again to avoid being spotted, but they are too late.
Donnie unloads on the van, causing it to crash and gather a crowd of walkers. Eugene devises a plan to escape as more walkers surround the van.
As the night drags on, Donnie keeps his aim on the van as the horn goes off; a brick wedged against it. He is then confronted from behind by Eugene and the rest as they appear behind him, having escaped, and is pushed off the ledge to his death.
Eugene watches him fall and notifies Carson that the way he fell he died on impact so he would not feel what would come next as the undead thrive in the area. He admits that though they are fighting against the group, he feels bad for taking a human life. Carson comforts him and explains that he knew Donnie and that he was a monster. Which is why he, along with other unstable members, was stationed at the outposts, away from the group at The Sanctuary.
Eugene, after hearing this, exclaims, "Then fuck him then."
Death

Donnie is killed by Eugene, after Eugene sneaks up on him and pushes him off the building he was taking watch on. It is unknown if he turned or was completely eaten by the approaching undead.
