|This article is about the TV series character. You may be looking for for the first criminal, the third criminal or the Comic series criminal.|
This Criminal is a minor antagonist and, along with two other of his criminal comrades, were involved in a high speed chase before the apocalypse occurred in the episode "Days Gone Bye" in Season 1 of AMC's The Walking Dead.
Not much is known about this criminal. He probably lives in or near Atlanta, and is a criminal for a living.
Along with two other of his criminal colleagues, he was involved in a legal matter with the Linden County Sheriff's Department. However, the group refused to obey the requests of the deputy officers, injuring a Linden County Sheriff officer and starting a high speed chase with the Linden County Sheriff's Department. He was the driver of the car and drove recklessly on the highway entering King County, Georgia where the police requested the aid of the local King County Sheriff's Department. When Officer Rick Grimes and Officer Shane Walsh responded to the call, they headed out to the highway and laid down a spike strip to stop their vehicle. Unable to avoid the spike strip, he hit it at full force, causing an immediate flattening of the tires which made him lose control of the vehicle and caused it to flip multiple times. When the group recovered, he was the second one to get out of the car armed with a shotgun and made multiple attempts to shoot Shane. The first criminal was gunned down by the police officers and fighting back, he too was eventually shot and killed.
- Multiple Police Officers; possibly
The criminal got out of the flipped car after his friend was shot and tried to fire back at officers, only to be shot in the chest.
- "Days Gone Bye" (No Lines)
- Brent Bernhard has theorized that since none of the criminals were killed with head-shots, they are likely walkers roaming around the Georgian forests. (This is unlikely because Rick was in a coma for several months. The bodies were likely buried by then.)
