At some point after the outbreak, Cindy and Fred abandoned their house. It is unknown what had happened to them. After this, Morgan Jones arrived with his wife, Jenny, and their son, Duane. Jenny was zombified and after Rick was saved by Morgan and Duane, he recognized the place. Morgan stated he never met Cindy or Fred.
